Interior Designer Tanna Edler, Founder and Owner of TANNA BY DESIGN has received the ‘Praiseworthy Pick’ recognition from the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) and the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) for the 2022 "Person of the Year" award in their official publication, Kitchen and Bath Business (KBB Magazine). This year's prestigious winners were selected for writing award winning blogs, giving back to their communities and supporting the next generation.
Live Easy is the TBD mindset. With that motto at their fingertips, they’ve made it a point to make it easy to interact with TANNA BY DESIGN. TBD’s ‘Live Easy Blog’ came to life in June, 2020 The purpose was to increase industry presence, educate readers, share design work and provide resources to followers. Demonstrating capability through a display of projects, provides readers with details surrounding the design process, resulting in the confidence to move forward with their interior goals. Monthly posts provide for consistent and quality content and have also served as a means to communication.
The TBD ‘Live Easy Blog’ was voted #1 in the nation within the DESIGNER of the YEAR Best Practices category. The Interior Design Society stated that the blog was judged and rated on design, content and functionality. Today the TBD website has recorded a 240% increase in traffic with over 130,000 views, since 2020.

To date, TANNA BY DESIGN has received 14 Designer of the Year awards from the National Interior Design Society (IDS) running the gamut from New Construction, Renovations and Furniture & Styling projects.
They have also racked up loads of regional awards and have been voted BEST in their VALLEY on numerous occasions. Recently, they have received international honors with their Virtual Design Consultations and Renderings.
Based near Seattle, Washington, TANNA BY DESIGN offers local design services in the State, remote design services in the Pacific Northwest Region and, NOW, Virtual Design reaching from Coast to Coast! The future is looking very bright for Virtual Design projects with recent e-design work in Arizona, New York, Texas and Pennsylvania.
Currently TBD has been published in 71 publications and featured in 20 magazines, They are active on industry podcasts, webinars and training seminars. They have published 32 blog posts and have had over 35,000 views on those posts alone. And, have been requested as a guest blogger on the Kitchen & Bath Business Magazine as well as the Food Network Magazine.
Today, as a self-taught solopreneur, Tanna Edler has invested endless hours fine-tuning her interior design process and now is sharing this valuable design knowledge with other inspiring designers, while revisiting her love for teaching. Mentorship and Coaching was a natural progression after years of ‘lessons learned’ in business, and now Tanna Edler is guiding other designers as they plan to strive for the same success. Her Coaching with Intent programming focuses on processes and time management resulting in profitability and balance.
Prior to founding TANNA BY DESIGN, Tanna had over 15 years of Client Solution Management and Corporate Training & Development experience. After perfecting her craft within that same organization in corporate America, she stepped into coaching and training her peers using the same successful business practices she had created!
She has worked with designers from varying backgrounds and experiences on processes and marketing strategies that support a profitable design business! Her consultations are one on one conversations regarding interior design goals, dilemmas, resources and more.
Giving back to the community is top of mind with Tanna, and has been an important part of TANNA BY DESIGN since the beginning. Tanna is very active in her local area and completes a pro-bono design project each year for underrepresented communities. Her efforts have been recognized through the Interior Design Society's (IDS) Impact Award, receiving top honors for her paint & styling plans for the Everett Boys and Girls Club and again with her rendered designs for the new Voices for Children location in Yakima.
